The Rice Objectivism Club (ROC) is off to another successful year! Thanks to all of you who stopped by our table during the Activities Fair.
Let me tell you about our first event, taking place on Thursday, Sept. 25th, in Duncan Hall, room 1064 at 7:30 p.m. At this meeting, we will take a look at a handful of engaging videos (some including Ayn Rand herself) on YouTube that focus on Ayn Rand’s ideas—from CAPITALISM to EGOISM to OBJECTIVITY. After viewing each video, we’ll discuss and debate the ideas presented.
Why come to this meeting? It will give you a chance to learn more about Rand’s ideas and to get involved in campus activities; plus, you’ll get to meet other people interested in the ideas and writings of Ayn Rand.
